Auto-Renewal
Recurring product purchases renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. By subscribing, you authorise UPSC Clear Cut and Razorpay to charge your payment method on record until you cancel.
You will receive a pre-debit notification at least 24 hours before each renewal charge via email. If you do not wish to renew, cancel before this notification to avoid the next charge.
The pre-debit notification will be sent to the email address registered to your account. Ensure your email is current and our messages are not filtered to spam.
Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring paid product at any time:
- Log in to your account and go to Dashboard → Subscription
- Click “Cancel Subscription”
- Confirm cancellation
After cancellation, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing cycle.
If you are unable to cancel through the dashboard, email uoscclearcut2@gmail.com with your registered email and we will process the cancellation within 1 business day.
Refund Policy
As a digital subscription service, UPSC Clear Cut generally does not offer refunds once a billing cycle has commenced. Content access begins immediately upon payment.
Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 48 hours of a charge in the following exceptional circumstances only:
- Duplicate charge (charged more than once for the same period)
- Technical failure on our side that prevented the purchased product from being accessible during the billing period
- Charge after a confirmed cancellation
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Dissatisfaction with generated content quality
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal
- Requests made more than 48 hours after a charge
- Partial month usage
- Any subjective preference for alternative study materials
To request a refund, email uoscclearcut2@gmail.com within 48 hours of the charge with:
- Your registered email address
- The Razorpay transaction ID (from your invoice)
- A brief description of the reason for the refund request
We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days back to the original payment method.
Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, bank decline), we follow this recovery sequence:

During the recovery period (Days 1–7), your paid access remains active. You can renew at any time after cancellation — your progress and history are retained.
